Does it smell like beef?
No. This is the #1 question we get. We use triple-filtered, grass-fed tallow that is strictly purified. It has a very faint, earthy scent in the jar that disappears almost instantly upon application. We do not use essential oils or perfumes to mask it, so it simply smells like... nothing.
Will it leave me greasy or sticky?
Not at all. Unlike raw tallow or heavy balms, we whip our cream to be airy and light. It absorbs into your skin in minutes, leaving a matte, soft finish. You can put your jeans or pajamas on right away without feeling sticky.
Can I use this on my face?
Yes! It is non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores) and is rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K. Many customers use it as their daily face moisturizer, night cream, and even as an eye cream because it’s gentle enough for eyelids.
How long does one jar last?
A little goes a long way. Because there is no water filler, you need a much smaller amount than standard lotion. For daily face and hand use, a 6.5 oz jar typically lasts 1–2 months. For whole-body family use, we recommend the Family Relief Bundle (3-Pack).
How should I store it?
Since we use zero preservatives, water, or stabilizers, keep the jar in a cool, dry place. Avoid getting water inside the jar during use. If kept dry and cool, it stays fresh for at least 12 months.
My skin reacts to everything. Is this safe?
